California State Fair Junior (Girls 12-18)

The Sacramento Golf Council, in conjunction with the Junior Golf Association of Northern California (JGANC), presents the 2018 State Fair Junior Championship for girls ages 12-18 at the Mather Golf Course on Saturday August 25, 2018. This is a JGANC points event. Girls age 18 may participate if they have not started college prior to August 25, 2018.

The tournament will be 18 holes of stroke play, with tee times stating at 8:00 AM.

Prizes will be awarded for first, second and third place in each of the 12-14 and 15-18 divisions. There will also be a prize for the overall girls champion – the low score from both divisions. The overall champion will have her name inscribed on a perpetual trophy. In the event of a tie for the overall girls champion, there will be a sudden death playoff. All other ties will be broken in accordance to USGA Rule 33-6.

The entry fee for all players is $73 (both JGANC and non-JGANC) and includes green fees, lunch and awards. The deadline for entry is August 19, 2018.
